Examples of our innovativeness:
- MSO provided consultation to major HMO's on the
subject of specialty based capitation as a way to
reduce costs while increasing the incentive to
individual physicians to provide the best quality
care as measured by outcome, not cost. Our models
were discussed at various governance committee
meetings and successfully implemented by managed
care.
- MSO developed the first internet-based
teleradiology products in 1995. The adoption
of DICOM sped the implementation of our software
initiative to products that fully adopted internet
technology.
