Executive Summary
Over the past decade, MSO has developed and introduced an array of
physician products and services. We sincerely hope that our broad
experience, technological knowledge in cardiology and extensive

MSO can help establish networks of specialists in cardiology who are

who meet our exacting criteria for high quality cardiology medical care.
Our 1,000 page policy and procedure manual addresses a vast array of
issues crucial to the success the CDS program. We have success to place the
controls in the right hands for the following factors:

- Follow up treatment decisions.
MSO's first experience was with the establishment of
Bergen Medical
Imaging Center, a 4000 sq/ft facility which provides nuclear medicine,
telephonic monitoring, ultrasound and DEXA imaging to 600 physicians in the
tri-state area.
MSO directed BMI's operations in a way that maintained the highestquality
of the studies performed there. Complex cardiac cases were routinely
referred to this center for second opinion after diagnostics performed at
other New Jersey Hospitals yield results that are questioned by specialists.
In 2001 MSO sold its interest shares in BMI to a private group in the area.
We have built on the experience at this facility to create a
model for managed care that not only achieves better care, but also saves
money, hence - Cardiology Diagnostic Service Target Outcome Capitation
program (CDS TOC)
Through collaboration with a network of expert invasive
cardiologists and participating hospitals, CDS can offer similar outcome
capitation for invasive procedures.
